AlloSource and Integra LifeSciences Announce Anchor Gifts to Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors' Never Alone Campaign

CENTENNIAL, Colo. and PLAINSBORO, N.J., Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AlloSource, one of the nation's largest providers of cellular and tissue allografts, and Integra LifeSciences, a leading global medical technology company, today announced anchor gift donations to the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors' Never Alone Campaign. The campaign is dedicated to raising money for strategic initiatives that will enable the Phoenix Society to provide a community of support, as well as resources and tools, for burn survivors and their families.

The Never Alone Campaign supports burn survivors around the world by providing access to the Phoenix Society's programs, networks and resources. Programs include hospital-based peer support, an online community to connect with people around the world, resources for children and families, online learning courses for life skills following a burn injury, education grants and the annual Phoenix World Burn Congress. The Phoenix Society's goal is to raise $6 million during the campaign.

"We are honored to support the Phoenix Society as they continue to strengthen their resources for burn survivors and their families," said Thomas Cycyota, president and CEO of AlloSource. "The Never Alone campaign deepens our commitment to serving as part of a broad support system to those around the world who are healing from a burn injury.  The strength of the burn community inspires us to honor tissue donors through our allografts, as well as our dedication to our partnership with the Phoenix Society."

AlloSource and Integra LifeSciences are longstanding providers of products to help burn survivors physically heal, and the organizations' partnerships with the Phoenix Society provide an opportunity to support emotional healing. The anchor gift donations to the Never Alone campaign allow the Phoenix Society to expand its programs, resources, and tools to help ensure burn survivors do not face recovery alone.

"We are very proud to work alongside the Phoenix Society to help provide additional support and make a difference for burn survivors and their families," said Peter Arduini, president and CEO of Integra. "We have personally met many burn survivors and their families that benefit from Phoenix Society's programs and are inspired by their stories. The Never Alone Campaign is a great platform to continue to build awareness and help burn survivors with the psychological and emotional aspects of their recovery."

Both AlloSource and Integra LifeSciences are attending the Phoenix Society's World Burn Congress, taking place October 4 ? 7 in Dallas, Texas.
