Ultima Foods has issued a voluntary recall of its iögo drinkable and some flavors of drinkable in 1-liter format due to potential health risks
SAINT-HUBERT, QC, June, 8, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Ultima Foods is immediately recalling the iögo nanö drinkable 93 ml and some flavors of drinkable in 1-liter format products with the letter C being close to peremption date, due to the possibility of the presence of plastic fragments. Given the potential health risks to consumers, the company has decided to issue a voluntary recall of these products.

No other iögo products are affected by this recall.
Ultima Foods has asked all of its customers to remove the impacted products from their shelves. We have contacted the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) that is overseeing the recall process.
Ultima Foods is also asking consumers with the above-mentioned product in their possession to contact Ultima Foods' Consumer Service at the toll-free number 1-855-684-4646 or through the form available from the iogo.ca website under the "Contact" section to receive a refund.
There have been no consumer complaints reported to date associated with this incident. While no plastic fragment have been found in finished product at all, we are taking this voluntary action in an overabundance of caution.
