Contrecoeur Port Terminal Expansion Project - Federal Funding Allocated


OTTAWA, July 21, 2017 /CNW/ - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has allocated $109,917.35 in federal funds to six recipients to assist their participation in the environmental assessment of the proposed Contrecoeur Port Terminal Expansion Project, located in Contrecoeur, Quebec.

The funding was made available through the Agency's Participant Funding Program. It will assist public and Indigenous participation in upcoming steps of the environmental assessment, which include reviewing and providing comments on the Environmental Impact Statement or on its summary, the draft Environmental Assessment Report and the potential environmental assessment conditions.
