Media Advisory - Minister Catherine McKenna will host the second meeting of the NAFTA Advisory Council on the Environment

OTTAWA, Sept. 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will participate in a photo op with members of the NAFTA Advisory Council on the Environment, prior to the second meeting of the Council.

Created in August 2017, the ten-member council brings together prominent Canadians from politics, law, and Indigenous groups, and it will advise the Minister of Environment and Climate Change on environmental issues as Canada looks to strengthen environmental protections in a modernized North American Free Trade Agreement.
