Global Healthcare Income & Growth Fund Renews Normal Course Issuer Bid


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 12, 2017) - Global Healthcare Income & Growth Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:HIG.UN) has renewed its normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 518,100 units (the "Units") of the Fund representing approximately 10% of the public float of 5,181,132 Units. The Fund may purchase up to 103,622 Units in any 30 day period which is 2% of the 5,181,132 issued and outstanding Units at October 4, 2017.

As of October 4, 2017, the Fund had purchased 155,500 units of the 601,900 units approved under its current bid at an average price of $8.87 per Unit.

The Units may be purchased for cancellation from October 17, 2017 to October 16, 2018 through the facilities of the TSX or other alternative Canadian trading system and may only be purchased at a price per Unit not exceeding the last published net asset value per Unit. The Fund believes that such purchases are in its best interests and are a desirable use of its available funds.
