Formally launched in late 2017, the NEC, comprised of innovative and visionary nurse executives from healthcare organizations across North America, will work collaboratively with the Beryl Institute to develop strategies for nurse leader engagement in the patient experience movement and will also inform the Institute's efforts. The Council will host its first in-person meeting during The Beryl Institute Patient Experience Conference, to be held April 16-18 in Chicago.
"I am deeply honored to serve as co-chair alongside Dr. Victoria Niederhauser, Dean and Professor, Knoxville College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee," said Drenkard.
