BRAMPTON, ON, July 26, 2018 /CNW/ - Ali Ehsassi, Member of Parliament for Willowdale, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O'Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, along with the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will attend a memorial service and wreath laying to mark the 65^th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and recognize the service of Canadian Korean War Veterans.

In 2018, the Government of Canada will mark the 65^th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, the 10^th anniversary of National Peacekeepers' Day and the 100^th anniversary of Canada's Hundred Days and the end of the First World War.
