Veteran Training & Employment Program NS2 Serves Kicks Off Inaugural Course in Tampa


TAMPA, Fla., July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- NS2 Serves announced the commencement of their technology training and employment program for post-9/11 military service veterans in Tampa, FL.  The intensive three-month course will result in candidates attaining in-demand technology certifications and career opportunities.

The program is offered by NS2 Servestm an independent nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization was launched by SAP National Security Services, Inc. tm (SAP NS2tm) to address veterans' unemployment and to give back to the community it serves. Full-time, paid participants are trained in SAP software solutions that support a variety of U.S. government and business missions. Graduates will earn "Certified SAP Associate" status ? a globally recognized certification that is highly valuable in many career paths. Trainees also receive communication skills training and receive guidance from business mentors in the technology industry.

NS2 Serves Chairman, General (Ret.) John Campbell, said, "It is wonderful to see new faces eager to learn new skills to aid in their transition from the military to the corporate world.  Since 2014, NS2 Serves has trained and placed over 200 veterans in IT and data management careers with leading commercial and government organizations. We are pleased to extend our program to the Tampa area." General Campbell retired from the US Army on May 1st, 2016, after 37 years of active duty service. He was most recently the Commander of NATO Forces for the ISAF/Resolute Support Mission and Commander of United States Forces?Afghanistan from August 2014 to March of 2016.
