Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum Kicks off 2018 Fall Season with Second Annual Vintage Wings and Wheels Car Show
MESA, Ariz., Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum (AZCAF) is kicking off its fall event season on Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (museum is open until 4:00 pm) with the second annual Vintage Wings and Wheels Car Show, a partnership with Southwest Street Rods. There will be over 300 custom hot rods, vintage aircraft, food trucks and flights on World War II warbirds. The event is free with a regular museum admission ticket. Car show entrants may register their vehicles at www.southweststreetrods.com.
AZCAF curates their events to fulfill their mission of education, preservation, and remembrance of the men, women, and machines who played a role in the history of aviation in U.S. combat. The events, along with personal Docent-led tours, hundreds of informative exhibits, war artifacts, full-size and scaled aircraft, and living history rides in World War II airplanes provide thousands of visitors with a visceral experience unlike any other museum in the Phoenix area.
