Locally, Hampton Roads, Va. is home to one of the largest concentrations of Department of Defense personnel in the United States. With more than 100,000 military family members residing here, NMFA's vital programs help these military families every day. NMFA works to improve awareness of the value of mental health services and in ensuring military families know they can seek help without fear.

"We are proud of our long-standing relationship with the National Military Family Association and the important advocacy work they do on behalf of our military families," said Chuck Taylor, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, ValueOptions Federal Services, Inc., a Beacon Health Options company. "Behind our brave service men and women, there are family members who share in their sacrifice and provide unending support, and we thank NMFA for being there day in and day out to support our hometown heroes."
