BBB Recognizes Pioneer Services for Marketplace Ethics

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Western Washington recently named Pioneer Services, a Division of MidCountry Bank a Finalist for its 2018 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award recognizes companies who demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to ethics in relationships with customers, employees, and the community they serve.

Pioneer's local office serving the Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) military community near Seattle-Tacoma was previously nominated. Team members then submitted extensive information about the company's Vision, Mission, and Values ? and how these are ingrained into the overall corporate culture and team member's everyday actions when helping military families. Evaluators considered Pioneer's commitment to social responsibility, volunteerism and financial education. Moreover, they reviewed  the company's 10-point Financial Bill of Rights for Military Families and the 100% Return Guarantee offered to customers.

Only well-established, brick and mortar businesses are eligible for this recognition ? and Pioneer is pleased that several of its local offices have been recognized with BBB "Torch" Awards on prior occasions.  The company was named a recipient of the Excellence in Customer Services (EICS) Award by the BBB of Southern Colorado in late 2017.

Pioneer Services has been providing financial services to the military community since 1986, helping more than 1.4 million military families since that time.  It has been recognized nationally for its on-going commitment to corporate social responsibility, and its award-winning free financial education resources for the military.
