Air Ambulance Worldwide Teams with Sonny's BBQ to Show Appreciation to U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla., Feb. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Coast Guard Personnel Enjoy Free BBQ Lunch during Recent Government Shutdown

Air Ambulance Worldwide and Sonny's BBQ joined forces during the recent government shutdown to show their appreciation to the men and women of U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater. Continuing to serve their country without pay during the 35-day shutdown, hundreds of Coast Guard personnel were treated to complimentary Sonny's BBQ food and drinks during a special event organized by Air Ambulance Worldwide.

Additionally, Air Ambulance Worldwide volunteers gathered hundreds of non-perishable food items to replenish the food stores on the base, which were closed during the shutdown. This helped Coast Guard personnel stay fed while continuing to provide life-saving services to the public during the shutdown.

This is done while simultaneously maintaining a constant Bravo Zero Search and Rescue response at home in Florida.
