Expressworks Federal Selects ePath Learning's LMS Technology to Deliver Innovative Veteran's Support Project

NEW LONDON, Conn., April 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ePath Learning Inc. announced today that their flagship LMS, ePath Learning ASAP, was selected by Expressworks Federal as the learning management system of choice to deliver innovative Veteran support on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affair's National Center for PTSD.

(PRNewsfoto/ePath Learning Inc.)

Expressworks Federal, a consulting firm that provides best-in-class change management, transformation, and innovation solutions for organizations, was chosen by the VA to support them with a research initiative utilizing "Moving Forward."  Moving Forward is a free online educational and life coaching course that teaches personal problem-solving skills to help Veterans and Service Members overcome obstacles and manage life's challenges.

Given the technical complexities of the project, Expressworks Federal was selected by the VA for their unique ability to leverage problem solving consultants, project management, and a high-end technical support team to solve the integration and specialized staffing of the research project.  When asked about the selection, Mike Labit, Expressworks Federal, stated "ASAP met all critical requirements and offered the best value to the company and VA.  Of significance was ePath's willingness to work with us in modifying the system reporting to accommodate unique interface reporting requirements for the project."

Both Expressworks and ePath Learning are committed to the success of this project because it focuses on helping Veterans with potential mental health issues that are not inclined to seek treatment at VA facilities.  Expressworks' support included LMS selection, hosting of Moving Forward, interfacing with Stanford University's REDCAP research database system, marketing to attract participants, providing a Veteran Peer Assist person to work with some study participants, and converting another treatment course for future studies that is mobile accessible via ePath Learning ASAP.

Steve Morse, VP Client Services, ePath Learning, stated, "Expressworks Federal is very authentic and results-driven. We worked diligently together on the REDCAP-ASAP interface and it's my hope that other VA research projects can benefit from the time investment that went into making the integration a success."
