April's results led to year-to-date sales of 5,316 for the division, of which 4,341 were CPO. Year-over-year, CPO penetration is up by 2.6%, growing from 79.1% in April 2018 to 81.7% in April 2019.
"Our April sales numbers were affected by limited availability of our most popular passenger cars and SUVs," said Brian D. Fulton, President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada. "We expect to see the supply of high-volume vehicles increase in the months ahead. In the interim, we will continue to work with our dealers to manage the effects of this temporary shortage."
