U.S. Navy Veteran and San Antonio, TX Periodontist, Dr. Dan Holtzclaw Offers Free Full Arch Dental Implants through Saving Veterans' Smile Program

SAN ANTONIO, June 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DIA Dental Implant Center is offering a free full arch dental implant treatment to one lucky veteran in San Antonio, TX who shares his or her smile story. Dr. Dan Holtzclaw, founder of DIA Dental Implant Center and veteran of the U.S. Navy, will honor a fellow veteran this Fourth of July by enhancing the veteran's smile. A full arch dental implant treatment will restore not only the confidence, but the overall health of any veteran suffering with severely damaged teeth or loose and uncomfortable dentures.

Veterans that use VA dental care are met with many restrictions when it comes to dental implant treatments. Because of this, veterans usually go the route of traditional dentures, or sadly, settle for their current painful, damaged teeth. With traditional dentures, veterans typically struggle with discomfort from bulky, loose fitting dentures. They are often unable to eat all of the foods they love and eventually lose jawbone density due to lack of stimulation from tooth roots.

With a combined 66 years of military service, the DIA Dental Implant Center team includes many veterans who have served in the Army, Navy and Air Force. A passion for their fellow veterans, this team decided to make dental implants a possibility for veterans who may struggle to attain this service. As a result, they developed the "Saving Veterans' Smiles" contest. The contest is open to any person who has served in the United States Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, or Coast Guard. To enter, veterans are asked to write a 400+ word essay, or film a one- to three-minute video explaining:

Contestants can submit their entries via Facebook by tagging DIA Dental Implant Center, or by emailing the office at SavingVeteransSmiles(at)gmail.com. Those who know a veteran that deserves a free arch of teeth can also submit an entry on behalf of a veteran. The contest is running now through July 4, 2019, at 11:59pm CST.

DIA Dental Implant Center's full arch dental implant treatment is a non-invasive alternative to traditional dentures that equips patients with a new arch of permanent teeth that look and act like natural teeth. Both of the DIA Dental Implant Center offices, located in San Antonio and Austin, TX, use state-of-the-art technology which gives doctors the ability to determine the exact placement and angle for implants to have the most long-lasting results. Because of this, many denture wearers who had been previously told they are ineligible for dental implants can actually realize the life-changing impact of this team's full arch

Patients with severely damaged or missing teeth who are ineligible for the contest, but still looking for a dental implant specialist in Austin or San Antonio, can connect with DIA Dental Implant Center for a consultation by calling 210-529-7180 for the San Antonio office or 512-375-0050 for the Austin office.
