Whiskey Bar and 3 Hundred Days of Shine Partner to Support our Troops

DENVER, Aug. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A love of whiskey and a lack of comfortable and affordable local bars were the reasons why Schwab, of New Era Realty, founded Whiskey Bar in 2003. Now, Schwab is expanding his mission by partnering with a national charity. During the month of September, Whiskey Bar will offer 300 Days of Shine's Barrel Finished Old Fashions to thirsty patrons ? with a portion of each sale going to benefit the
Explosive Ordnance Disposal Warrior Foundation.

"Whiskey Bar has always tried to partner with local distilleries and breweries and when we learned of 3 Hundred Days of Shine and their Master Distillers passion for the EOD Foundation it was a perfect fit," said Schwab.

The EOD Warrior Foundation supports U.S. military members who disarm and dispose of bombs. By putting themselves in harms way to protect the lives of others, EOD technicians have one of the most dangerous occupations in the military. When EOD technicians are wounded, they often sustain some of the most severe injuries ? including loss of limbs, burns, paralysis, blindness and traumatic brain injuries. Schwab partnered with the foundation after learning about their work to support troops and their families through financial, educational, and emotional support.

The Whiskey Bar's featured old fashion is only one piece of an impressive whiskey collection, according to Whiskey Bar Manager and accredited Whiskey Ambassador Dave Berry. The bar has one of the best whiskey selections in the nation, featuring over 600 varieties of the spirit. The bar is open every day and features tours for those who want to increase their whiskey knowledge.

A lifelong resident of Colorado, Schwab entered real estate after graduating from Colorado State University.
