Three Wire Systems helps raise over $38,000 for Yellow Ribbon Fund in Nashville, TN

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Three Wire Systems, LLC, a disabled veteran-owned tech and human solutions firm, hosted a country music fundraiser on December 10 for the Yellow Ribbon Fund at the Veteran Affairs National Small Business Engagement Conference in Nashville, Tenn. This event brought in over $38,000 in three hours to support post-9/11 wounded, ill and injured service members and their families.

The event, "Country Music Writer Showcase," featured performances from a set of talented songwriters, including Casey Beathard, Jonathan Singleton and Shane Minor, as they helped raise money and awareness for The Yellow Ribbon Fund. The fund is a non-profit that offers housing and transportation to returning American servicemen and servicewomen who were injured during combat or training accidents and are recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. The Yellow Ribbon Fund also provides critical caregiver support in seven chapters throughout the United States. The charity was showcased through a key address from Navy Captain (ret.) Joseph Grace, who spoke to the importance of Veteran support.

"It was an honor to be a part of the Veterans Affairs National Small Business Engagement Conference and raise money for the Yellow Ribbon Fund," said Bruce Marcey, Account Manager at Red Hat, who worked to organize and co-host this event. "This inspiring event showcased the best of Music City, and together, we were able to provide dearly needed assistance to the men and women whose bravery will never be forgotten. Our mission is to serve those who serve others, so we hope to continue working with these organizations in the future."

This event was sponsored by Three Wire Systems, Red Hat, Carahsoft, Red River, Rubrik, Nutanix, F5, GitHub, and Perspecta. The night's top donors included Three Wire Systems, Vethos, Excentium, Nolig Consulting, Higher Echelon, Hull IT Solutions and Services, LLC, Halfaker, and Veritas, each donating over $1,000.
