Cognosante Awarded Veterans Health Administration High Reliability Organization Support Contract

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cognosante has been awarded a contract to provide advisory and assistance services (A&AS) to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to facilitate its transformation into a high reliability organization (HRO). Under the blanket purchase agreement, Cognosante and its teaming partners will work with the VHA to conduct facilitated assessments of VA Medical Centers and develop and execute customized implementation plans to facilitate the establishment of HRO principles throughout. The team will also provide coaching, training, sustainment plans, and other support services. The award carries a total estimated contract value of $98 million.
