Vietnam Veteran and 9/11 Survivor Awarded Free Solar Panel System by California Solar Company

LOS ANGELES, June 23, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- After being moved by Bruce's story, Semper Solaris has chosen the Lancaster resident as the 2021 Semper Cares Initiative recipient for this upcoming Independence Day event. Mr. Autry will be receiving solar panels free of cost, drastically reducing his electricity bills for life.

The morning of September 11th, Bruce Autry found himself directly outside the walls of the Pentagon. His prior experience in Law Enforcement and as a US Army Veteran led Bruce to become a Federal Investigator within the EEOC. While attending a training class, the attack on the Pentagon happened. Luckily, Bruce was unharmed. Amidst the day's chaos, he quickly rushed to help the first responders in any way needed. Bruce decided to extend his stay in DC to volunteer his services in his country's time of need.

Bruce's kind heart and work ethic continued, as he simultaneously held two full-time positions: carrying on as Investigator at the EEOC while serving as a San Bernardino Peace Officer. Bruce also took on many off-duty security positions, providing bodyguard services for celebrities, politicians, and public events. Mr. Autry also found a passion in teaching and sharing proper bodyguard practices to others.

Throughout his life, Bruce has always been a focused individual, graduating high-school early at age 16, followed by an enlistment in the US Army, 169th Engineer Battalion. In 2013, Bruce Autry was diagnosed with cancer, stemming from Agent Orange exposure during his three tours in Vietnam. Bruce, being the warrior he is, took cancer on while continuing to work full-time and provide for his wife, two step-daughters, and at the same time, continues to care for his ailing mother. Semper Solaris is proud to be able to help Bruce after he has helped so many.

Semper Cares Initiative provides veterans and their families help in handling high energy costs with major home improvements like solar panel installation free of charge. This Independence Day, Semper Solaris is honored to provide a full solar panel system and installation for Bruce Autry and his family!
