August 2021 Observations:
Six consecutive months of occupancy growth.
Sequentially, the weighted average occupancy percentage increased 50 bps.
For the month of August, Brookdale achieved an increase in occupancy on a sequential basis, even with the rise of the COVID-19 delta variant in the general U.S. population.
We expect to continue to publish monthly occupancy reports until we return to providing financial guidance, at which point we would expect to return to our historical reporting practices.
