Secure Delivery, Secure Applications: Ensured with the ISO 27034-1 Certification

Sryas, a leading global technology company specializing in data, advanced analytics, software development, application modernization, and systems integration, today announced the successful completion of the internationally recognized ISO 27034-1:2011 certification.

ISO 27034 is a multi-part application security framework that guides organizations on integrating security across the entire software development lifecycle?from determining requirements and design to delivery and maintenance.

Achieving this internationally recognized standard for application security enables Sryas' security-conscious partners and customers to build effective programs that address existing vulnerabilities and build secure applications by design right from the start.

"Nearly all vulnerabilities listed in the common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE) database continue to be the result of insecure software," said George Alifragis, Chief Operating Officer of Sryas. "ISO 27034-1:2011 supports our strategy, and our customers' strategy, to develop future-proof secure software and innovate with confidence. Together, we can fuel an industry culture of joint innovation in which no risk is missed, and no opportunity is left behind."

The ISO 27034-1:2011 certification provides an extra layer of security to the Sryas development and delivery practice, alongside compliance to the ISO 27001:2013 standard, which secures infrastructure and systems; and the SOC 1 Type I standard, which protects data.

"While Sryas already follows a security model that combines OWAPS, SANS, and other industry-grade security practices, we are consistently taking extra steps to ensure our clients' applications are built and delivered securely," said Don Bristow, Chief Consulting & Compliance Officer of Sryas. "Security will continue to be an ever-evolving space that requires continuous due diligence, the right controls, and consistent auditing of those controls."

The certification also builds upon Sryas' existing ISO 9001:2015 and HIPAA compliance?further enabling customers, partners, and employees to forge forward fearlessly.
