Environmental Service Systems Celebrates 25 Year Milestone Anniversary

The year 2023 marks the 25th anniversary for Environmental Service Systems (ESS), a leading provider of facility maintenance services for clients across the United States. In 1998, Company founder and President, Edgar Ruth directed his entrepreneurial efforts towards providing excellence in integrated facilities maintenance solutions with processes and operations that were designed to create value for all customers. With its strategic leadership and a dynamic team of employees over the years, the Company has received several certifications and awards that are a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction.

As a minority-owned business, the Company is not only celebrating its 25 years of growth and achievements, but also its impact on representation and diversity in the various industries it provides services in. ESS is a Corporate Plus member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), and is also CIMS-GB certified by the ISSA. The Company plans to continue focusing on implementing best practices, observing industry trends, striving to unlocking new opportunities, investing in the development and growth of its people, improving and automating its day-to-day operations, among others.

"This is our time to celebrate the success of where we started, the impact of what we have achieved, and the promise for continued progress. I can think of no better way to mark the Company's 25th anniversary than by expressing gratitude for all our employees and customers who have been an instrumental part in our memorable journey. It is also equally important to feel proud of the crucial role we have played in enabling our customers to bring a profound change toward supplier diversity and minority spending through these years. We envision a future of greater impact on Diversity & Inclusion objectives for our new and existing customers, wider reach in new regions and industries and expansion of our skilled workforce," said Edgar Ruth, President and Founder of ESS. He added, "Together with our valuable employees and their contribution to our growth and advancement, we have been able to establish a company-wide culture of service excellence and customer satisfaction ? this is something that we will continue to do every day."

Along with innumerable new customer acquisitions, success stories, and accolades are the Company's recent achievements of making it to Charlotte Business Journal's Fast 50 ranking for fastest-growing private companies in 2022. In addition to their 38th rank on this list, Environmental Service Systems also ranked 2nd largest area-based Black-owned Company in 2021 and 2022 in order of their revenue generated the previous year. The Company believes that Diversity and Inclusion has always been at the heart of what they do, and has developed future plans to work in the same direction with improved quality standards, higher productivity, stronger customer relations, and innovation.
