Simon Business School, University of Rochester MBA Jumps in U.S. News & World Report Ranking

Simon Business School's MBA program continues to get recognition for excellence, vaulting six spots to 27th out of 149 programs in the U.S. News and World Report 2024 ranking released today.

"We are proud of our ascent on U.S. News' Best Business School MBA list," said Sevin Yeltekin, dean of Simon Business School. "This ranking is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students. We are committed to providing our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and companies with talent who can help them achieve their goals and manage their challenges."

Simon Business School's success is partly due to its high admissions standards, strong performance in student outcomes, higher salaries, excellent job placement rates, and impressive bonuses. Simon Business School's class of 2022's average total compensation was $162,000, and 95% of the class accepted employment three months post-graduation at companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte.

Last year, the school expanded its program offerings to include an Online Masters of Science in Business Analytics for Managers geared toward seasoned professionals and designed to train students to be technologically fluent and combine their business knowledge with data to make strategic decisions and add value to organizations.

The Simon Business School also continues to bolster its undergraduate program, recently receiving a generous gift of $6.7 million from alumni Evans Lam. As part of a gift to the University of Rochester, the Simon gift is earmarked in part to develop a new, preeminent space for undergraduate students to gain greater access to Simon's resources and community.

Simon Business School was the first MBA program in the U.S. to offer a STEM-designated option to students in any specialization, allowing them to select courses that align with their career ambitions. The school was ranked 1st in U.S. News' Most Diverse Top-50 MBA Program in 2021 and ranked 3rd in The Economist's list for ROI in 2021.
