Advisor2x Announces Wealth@wor(k) Conference Speakers, Opens Registration

Advisor2x, delivering online shows and live events designed to help financial advisors grow their practices, announced today that registration is officially open for its Wealth@wor(k) (W@W) conference, being held October 15-17, 2023, in Maryland's National Harbor.

The industry's premier event for advisors specializing in employer-based retirement plans brings together 300 advisor attendees for over 50 sessions covering a broad range of topics.

"W@W provides investment, compliance, marketing & sales, and practice management industry education," said Lisa Allen, Chief Revenue Officer of Advisor2x, "But one reason this event is unique to the industry is that it also offers exclusive content to help advisors take care of their own personal wellness so they can better take care of their clients. In fact, I am pleased that both of our keynotes this year are speaking to this topic."

Advisor wellbeing is an increasingly critical topic being covered by keynote speakers Brian Portnoy, a behavioral finance expert and co-founder of Shaping Wealth, and Maryanne Spatola, CEO and Founder of C3 Talent Strategies. Other notable presenters include Tom Clark, Partner and COO of the Wagner Law Group; Matt Halloran, Co-Founder of ProudMouth; Meghan Richter, Co-Founder and President of Intention.ly; Jania Stout, Senior Vice President, One Digital Retirement + Wealth; Joe DeNoyior, President, HUB Retirement and Wealth Management; Brad Arends, Co-Founder & CEO; and Brandon Budd, Financial Consultant both with Intellicents.

The agenda, developed by a hand-selected steering committee of advisors, providers and plan sponsors, follows adult learning best practices and is intentionally made up of smaller breakout sessions to encourage valuable collaboration and idea-sharing among participants.

"Having been a part of this event almost since its inception, I'm pleased to play a part in putting on an event that attracts the most successful, humble group of advisors eager to roll up their sleeves and collaborate to drive positive change," says Amy Glynn, Managing Partner at Viking Cove Institute and Steering Committee Member. "The caliber, warmth and ingenuity of the Advisor2x leadership team and their unflappable commitment to women's advocacy and DEI in our industry are just some of the things I greatly admire about Advisor2x and the W@W community."

Attendees also have the option of joining two pre-conference events on Sunday before the event kicks off. In partnership with Broadridge FI360 Solutions, attendees can register for a full day of classroom training to prepare for the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, which is limited to a small group of 50 attendees and offers a significant discount on the cost of earning the designation. Sheri Fitts will also host a two-hour workshop on Sunday for the first 35 advisors who register.

Finally, W@W will host a networking reception for WE. Inspire. Promote. Network (WIPN) members and female attendees interested in joining the organization on Sunday evening. To support WIPN and the community, Advisor2x has committed to covering the first year WIPN membership dues for any financial advisor attendee who joins the organization while on site.

Registration for the W@W conference is now open, but space is limited to 300 advisor attendees. To view the full agenda and speaker list and secure your spot, please click here.
