Altera Digital Health's Sunrisetm Named Top Inpatient EHR in Two Black Book Research Surveys

Altera Digital Health, a global health IT leader, today announced that Sunrisetm, an integrated electronic health record (EHR) built for hospitals and health systems, earned the No. 1 ranking on Black Book Research's lists of the top inpatient EHRs for community hospitals with 101?250 beds as well as the top EHRs and support solutions for acute rehabilitation hospitals. The nationwide rankings are based on customer satisfaction surveys of EHR system users, across 18 key performance indicators, and were conducted from Q2 2022 through Q3 2023.

More than 1.2 million health IT users are invited to participate in Black Book's annual survey of clinical, administrative, IT and finance leaders. Respondents from community hospitals with 101?250 beds gave Sunrise the highest scores among 23 total vendors for nine criteria, including reliability and consistency; innovation and optimization; and strategic alignment of client goals. Additionally, inpatient rehab hospital respondents rated Sunrise highest among 45 vendors for 10 criteria, including data security, patient privacy and backup services; support and customer care; and best-of-breed technology and process improvement.

"Altera aims to make healthcare easier to access, understand and navigate. It's incredibly rewarding to have users across disciplines validate that Sunrise is delivering on those goals," said Marcus Perez, President, Altera Digital Health. "From research and development to client service, I'm extremely proud of the Sunrise team, its unwavering focus on operational excellence and this recognition from Black Book."
