The MolinaCares Accord and Molina Healthcare of Florida Donate $250,000 to Support Hurricane Idalia Recovery Efforts

The MolinaCares Accord ("MolinaCares"), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Florida ("Molina"), is donating $250,000 to the Florida Disaster Fund, the state's official fund which supports response and recovery activities in times of emergency or disaster.

"Our hearts go out to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Idalia," said Mike Jones, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Florida. "The MolinaCares Accord supports programs and efforts that make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our communities. This funding does just that by putting resources on the ground where they are needed most."

While the regions directly affected by hurricane-related damage are not in Molina service areas, many members evacuated their homes in preparation for the storm. Because of this, Molina is supporting its members who need to access prescriptions at a location different from their local pharmacy. Information on this process can be found here.
