United Medical Systems Appoints Seasoned Healthcare and Sales Executive Matthew Gattuso as President
United Medical Systems Inc. ("UMS"), a national provider of premier transportable and in-house urology solutions to hospitals, surgery centers, and offices, today announced the appointment of Matthew Gattuso as President, effective November 1, 2023. Most recently, Mr. Gattuso served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Sales Leader at Owens & Minor, Inc., a Fortune 500 global healthcare solutions company.
Mr. Gattuso is a seasoned commercial business leader with three decades of experience in the healthcare and medical device industries. During his tenure at Owens & Minor, he oversaw all aspects of the merged Owens & Minor and Halyard Medical Distribution, Enterprise, Products, and Services commercial selling organizations in the United States. Previously, he served as President of the Infection Prevention Business Unit at Professional Disposables, Inc.

He began his career at Aetna US Healthcare. Mr. Gattuso holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) and has completed a global, executive leadership development program at Babson College.
