SEKO Logistics Announces the Promotion of Lila Landis to Global Chief Compliance Officer


SEKO Logistics (SEKO), the leader in end-to-end global logistics, today announced the promotion of Lila Landis to Global Chief Compliance Officer. This new role signifies the company's commitment to compliance throughout its global footprint. Landis will be responsible for overseeing compliance activities globally and integrating compliance teams in EMEA, Australia, the Americas along with other SEKO locations to better support the company's global operations and multinational clients.

Landis joined SEKO in 2021 to lead SEKO's U.S. Compliance program and is a U.S. Licensed Customs Broker, Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer, and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional ? International. Landis formerly spent 15 years building compliance programs for importer/exporters including Lockheed Martin, Avient Corporation and Rexnord, and has experience in International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance and implementing global trade management software.

Landis serves as a board member of the National Association for Small Business International Trade Education (NASBITE), organizer for the International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA) annual ITAR conference, leader of a local networking group in Dallas-Fort Worth for compliance professionals and is a member of the Customs Trade Support Network (TSN). She also provides pro-bono consulting on international trade matters to MedWish, a non-profit organization that provides medical supplies to developing countries.
