Cyolo Promotes Industry Veteran, Joe O'Donnell to Effectively Address the Growing Needs of CISOs Operating at the Intersection of IT and OT

Cyolo, provider of the fastest and most secure zero-trust access solution for enterprise IT and OT, is proud to announce the promotion of Joe O'Donnell to Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. In this pivotal leadership role, Joe will help fortify Cyolo's corporate roadmap with a strategic emphasis on broadening relationships with key alliance partners and customers as the company continues to provide the highest standard for access and connectivity in every environment, whether cloud-connected, cloud-averse, or offline.

This executive leadership promotion comes at a time of exponential growth for the company. As part of his increased responsibilities, Joe will lead several critical aspects of the company. Firstly, he will assume leadership of the recently enhanced partner program, "Cyolo Connected" and support the team by establishing key alliances across regions with an emphasis on OT, industrial, and automation vendors. He will also focus on scaling up the organization's strategic business opportunities with high-level customers and building plans to advance business operations, ultimately increasing the company's market presence through high-tier alliances, partnerships and joint ventures.

Joe has a proven track record of successfully executing new product introductions and go-to-market strategies over the past decades. With over 25 years of experience, Joe's new leadership position will play an intrinsic role as the company scales. He will be reporting to Almog Apirion, Cyolo's CEO and closely collaborating with the Revenue Operations Team, which is under the leadership of the Chief Revenue Officer, Jason Schaaf.

"As the security industry continues to evolve, Joe's expertise in the industrial sector and deep knowledge of both the IT and OT fields, position him as an industry trailblazer capable of providing invaluable market insights while leading, planning and executing Cyolo's strategic vision," said Almog Apirion, Co-Founder and CEO at Cyolo. "We are excited for this next chapter, and we know Joe will contribute significantly to Cyolo's promise of better customer security, operational agility, and user experience."

In recent years, increasing connectivity between IT networks and previously isolated OT systems has created serious new security risks. To address the complex challenges of access security amidst IT/OT convergence, Cyolo's ongoing innovation is dedicated to optimizing a secure access solution that consolidates the most valuable elements of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), industrial secure remote access (i-SRA), industrial grade-privileged access management (i-PAM), and more. With capabilities far beyond what other secure access tools can offer, Cyolo empowers organizations to seamlessly and securely connect their users to every work environment, from the cloud to the factory floor.

"Ensuring the security of critical infrastructure and industrial processes has become increasingly vital as organizations navigate access challenges across hybrid environments," said Joe O'Donnell, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. "I am honored and excited about this significant milestone within Cyolo, and I believe our solution is exactly what organizations across industries need to securely connect users to their work resources, including OT environments and legacy systems."

Cyolo's latest news follows an aggressive expansion across North America and EMEA, with Cyolo experiencing a 175% year-over-year growth in the past year and showcases the dedication and innovation the company brings to the forefront. The company has been featured across industry reports including the 2023 North American New Product Innovation Award by Frost & Sullivan and being listed as a Representative Vendor in the Gartner "Market Guide for Zero Trust Network Access" Report. Further, the company has been recognized across several industry awards, more recently as a finalist in the Black Unicorn Awards 2023, as a winner in the Global InsoSec Awards as the Most Innovative Zero Trust Solution.
