NodeSource Augments Leadership Team with Chief Revenue Officer, Director, Program Management, and Node Expert

NodeSource, the leader in Node.js observability, application management, monitoring, and security, today announced the appointments of Donald Brady as Chief Revenue Officer, Brandi Duffy as Director of Program Management and Bryce Baril as Node Expert. Each of these strategic appointments is pivotal in advancing NodeSource's mission to innovate, expand the Node.js ecosystem, and promote the adoption of Node.js across organizations of all sizes and industries.

"As we set our sights toward accelerating our product roadmap and scaling our reach with customers worldwide, we are thrilled to welcome Donald, Brandi, and Bryce to the NodeSource team," said Russ Whitman, CEO of NodeSource. "Brandi brings a rare set of skills and experience in driving open-source initiatives, while Donald's expertise in helping organizations adopt new technologies aligns perfectly with our goals. And Bryce, with his deep background in Node.js and rich history within the ecosystem, is poised to enhance our capabilities and ensure our products align with the Node.js community's most pressing needs."

Brady joins NodeSource from Deloitte Digital, where he served on the executive team as Principal. During his 11-year tenure, Brady was pivotal in driving substantial growth, helping the company from its initial formation to over $2B in revenue. As CRO of NodeSource, Brady will leverage his vast experience in driving top-line revenue and his deep knowledge in technology and engineering to develop and scale the organization's go-to-market strategy and expand its global reach.

"After working at a Big Four consulting firm for over a decade, I saw joining NodeSource as an opportunity to get back to my entrepreneurial roots and work for a company and product that I firmly believe in," said Brady. " NodeSource has developed best-of-breed commercial products for one the biggest open source technologies out there today. It's an opportunity to help scale an innovative company that I just couldn't turn down."

As the previous Senior Open Source Program Manager at Amazon, Duffy brings over a decade of experience in advancing the company's open source initiatives, fostering innovation, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals across all lines of business. Duffy will leverage her extensive background in program management to lead the development team in executing NodeSource's robust product roadmap and go-to-market efforts, providing support throughout the software development life cycle and aligning sales and customer success teams against strategic goals and timelines.

"NodeSource stands at the forefront of its industry, continually innovating the use of Node.js in an ever-evolving digital landscape, driven by a deep passion for open-source development," said Duffy. "As we set our sights toward OSS and accelerating our product roadmap with advanced AI capabilities, I look forward to the opportunity to lead transformative initiatives and contribute to the strategic direction of the organization."

Baril originally joined NodeSource in 2014, serving as Chief Technology Officer for nearly five years, and helped bring NodeSource to the enterprise market. After a brief sabbatical, Baril has returned to NodeSource as a resident Node Expert, overseeing service engagements with customers, architectural evaluations, Node.js training, and product roadmap development.

"It's great to be back at NodeSource where all of the best Node.js minds are," said Baril. "I'm excited to jump back into a team that has completely bought into the vision of Node.js taking over the world from the start and to continue to help the company bring Node.js to the enterprise community and beyond."
