Shane Battier Joins Garnett Station Partners as Senior Advisor
Garnett Station Partners ("Garnett Station"), a New York-based principal investment firm that manages over $2 billion of assets, today announced that Shane Battier has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. In this role, Mr. Battier will work with Garnett Station's portfolio companies to optimize organizational design and integrate data-based decision making to improve operations. He currently sits on the Board of Authentic Restaurant Brands ("ARB"), a Garnett Station portfolio company.
Following a distinguished NBA and collegiate basketball career, Mr. Battier has established himself as a trusted advisor to numerous organizations, leveraging the power of data analytics to pinpoint optimal strengths and weaknesses and help leaders operate their businesses more effectively. From 2017-2021, Mr. Battier served as Vice President of Analytics and Basketball Development for the Miami Heat. He also has served as a board member for YEXT, the BOA Acquisition Company and Arctos Sports Partners. In 2008, Mr. Battier founded the Battier Take Charge Foundation alongside his wife Heidi, which provides resources for furthering the education of underserved youth.
