Trivest Announces Promotions Across the Firm


Trivest Partners ("Trivest" or the "Firm") is pleased to announce the following promotions ? a recognition of accomplishment that fully exemplifies the depth of talent and experience on the internally-grown Trivest team.

Hans Grunwaldt has been promoted to Principal within the Portfolio Support Group, helping to drive value creation for portfolio companies by leveraging Trivest's Path to 3x strategies. Hans joined the Firm in 2019, bringing extensive finance and global operations expertise honed across multiple roles within Miami-based Restaurant Brands International, Inc., the parent company of Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Hans received an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS/MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami.

Jonathan Schonfeld has been promoted to Principal within the Trivest Growth Investment Fund. He is responsible for the analysis of investment opportunities, identification of strategic acquisition targets and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Jonathan joined Trivest in 2019 as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Trivest, Jonathan was an Associate at Hale Capital Partners and started his career in Investment Banking at Jefferies in New York. He received his B.S. in Finance and M.A. in International Business from the University of Florida.

Robert Crapsey has been promoted to Vice President within the Business Development organization, managing Trivest's intermediary relationships in the Gulf Coast region. Before joining Trivest in 2020, he was Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo Bank where he was involved with sourcing, structuring, and executing middle market senior debt transactions. He received his B.S. in finance and in management as well as an M.S. in finance from Florida State University.

Mac Lothrop has been promoted to Vice President within the Business Development organization. Based in New York, Mac manages Trivest's intermediary relationships in the Northeast region. Previously, Mac was with TruSight LLC, a buy-side M&A advisory firm located in Philadelphia. He received his B.S. in Economics from Clemson University.

Michael Maynard has been promoted to Vice President with a focus on Trivest Mid-Market Fund. Michael joined Trivest in 2013 as an intern, and has become instrumental in the analysis of investment opportunities, identification of strategic acquisition targets and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. He received his B.A. in Finance from the University of Miami.

Stephanie Mooney has been promoted to Vice President, Recognition Fund Development. Since joining Trivest in 2020, Stephanie has built relationships and sourced investment opportunities for Trivest in Canada. Her role has now expanded to business development across North America for Trivest's newest and largest fund, the $1.3 billion Trivest Recognition Fund. Stephanie holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McMaster University.

Chris Norton has been promoted to Senior Associate, Operations & Investor Relations. Chris joined Trivest in 2022, previously a senior associate in transaction advisory services at Dixon Hughes Goodman, where he performed due diligence work on buy-side and sell-side transactions. In addition, he spent two years as a senior audit associate at KPMG LLP. Chris received his B.S in Accounting from Florida State University and his M.S in Accounting from the University of North Florida. He is an active Certified Public Accountant.

Giselle Soto has been promoted to Assistant Controller. Giselle joined Trivest in 2022, having previously worked in fund accounting with both Gen II Fund Services and SS&C Technologies. She received her bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from University of Havana and her MBA from Florida International University.
