Communications Leader Dave Samson Joins iQ 360 as Senior Advisor
Dave Samson, one of the communications profession's most accomplished and respected executives, has joined business consultancy iQ 360, Inc., as chief corporate affairs counsel ? a newly created advisory role. In this capacity he will advise iQ 360 and its corporate, government and nonprofit clients as the firm continues executing its multi-city growth strategy.
"Dave and I first worked together 25 years ago, and have always shared a strategic, practical and business-oriented approach to communications," said Lori Teranishi, founder and CEO of iQ 360. "Together with John Onoda, who joined iQ 360 in 2021, Dave brings a vast wealth of experience and insight to our teams and clients as we work to manage the tremendous challenges and opportunities before us."
Most recently, Samson served as Edelman's Global Vice Chairman, Corporate Affairs and U.S. Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversaw the firm's U.S. operations, its Global Corporate Affairs Practice and served as a senior client advisor. At different times, he also served as interim head of Edelman's New York office, San Francisco office and Asia-Pacific Region. Prior to joining Edelman, Samson was the long-time head of communications and public affairs at Chevron, where he developed industry-leading practices to advance the energy giant's business and reputation aims.

A past chairman of the Arthur W. Page Society, Samson has been inducted into the halls of fame of both the Page Society and PRWeek. He is a recipient of the Plank Center Milestones in Mentoring award. Prior to joining Chevron, Samson held executive leadership positions at Oracle, Ketchum, Levi Strauss, IBM and Johns Manville. He received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University.
