State-of-the-Art Vascular Surgery Practice Expands Its Physician Partners


The Vascular Care Group ("TVCG") is thrilled to announce the promotion of two accomplished physicians, Dr. Edward Arous, and Dr. Robert Todd Lancaster, to its esteemed team of partners. Both Dr. Arous and Dr. Lancaster take a comprehensive approach to vascular health, and their commitments to advancing patient outcomes have earned them reputations as thoughtful leaders in the field. Including Dr. Arous and Dr. Lancaster as partners underscores TVCG's dedication to staying at the forefront of vascular surgery and medicine.

Dr. Arous, a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than a decade of endovascular and open surgical experience, has practiced with The Vascular Care Group, primarily in its Worcester office, since 2020. Dr. Arous received his medical degree and vascular and endovascular surgical training from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his master's in public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Arous' clinical interests include carotid artery disease, endovascular and surgical interventions for lower extremity ischemia, and varicose veins.

Dr. Lancaster, a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 15 years of surgical experience, has been with the practice's Wellesley office since 2021. Dr. Lancaster earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University, a master's in public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and underwent vascular and endovascular surgery training at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Lancaster serves as the chief of Vascular Surgery and other leadership roles at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. His clinical interests include all aspects of vascular surgery, with a special focus on arterial and venous disease research, advanced endovascular techniques in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, as well as central and peripheral venous disease.
