Winners Will Share the Stage with Big Names Like Nelly and Cole Swindell

This dynamic collaboration gives the next two Open For An Icon champions the coveted opportunity to share the SunFest Main Stage in Downtown West Palm Beach with music superstars like Nelly and Cole Swindell. Open For An Icon made waves across the United States this past December, by igniting stages at iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston. Audiences were captivated by the powerful vocals of Icon in Residence, Grammy Award-winning songwriter, Joelle James alongside the infectious energy of Open For An Icon winners, 15-year-old Ava Camejo of Jupiter, and the teenage rock-and-roll trio, Hello Sister, from Orlando. These up-and-coming performers shared the spotlight with music royalty such as Sza, Nicki Minaj, Usher, and OneRepublic. Now, SunFest presents the ultimate next chapter for this life-changing initiative, offering a prestigious platform for the future of music to explode into the limelight. From May 3rd to 5th, 2024, the SunFest main stage will become the career launching pad for not one, but two Open For An Icon champions, handpicked through a rigorous process including industry expert panels and fan votes. Open For An Icon is a national competition open to aspiring artists from across the country where winners get the chance to perform as the opening act for some of music's biggest stars.
