InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Shaver for Surgical Incision Sites (DAL-429)


PITTSBURGH, May 27, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I've been a registered operating room nurse for 45 years, and I thought there should be a way to not only shave but collect stray hair from a surgical incision site," said an inventor, from LakeWood, Calif., "so I invented the PRO SHAVE. My design would help maintain a clean surgical environment."

The invention provides an effective way to shave and remove the hair from a surgical incision site. In doing so, it offers an improved alternative to blowing, brushing, or using tape to remove the shaved hair. As a result, it helps prevent hair from remaining in the surgical environment and potentially contaminating the wound. The invention features a practical design that is easy to use so it is ideal for hospitals, medical facilities, hairstylists/barbers, dog groomers, etc.
