IFTAS Connect Launches To Provide Moderator Community Feature-Rich Tools And Resources To Foster A Safer, More Inclusive Fediverse

New Fediverse Moderator Community Provides Crowd-Sourced Library Resources, Relevant News, Discussion Forums, IFTAS Work and Member Groups

NEW YORK, May 29, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Independent Federated Trust & Safety (IFTAS), a nonprofit supporting trust and safety on the open social web, today announced the introduction of IFTAS Connect, a new Fediverse moderator community of practice. IFTAS Connect was developed in response to moderator needs assessments to help Fediverse moderators connect, share experiences, learn from each other, and benefit from a wealth of free and members-only tools and resources.

Designed by moderators, for moderators, IFTAS Connect features a wealth of beneficial resources including a crowd-sourced library of guides, pertinent news items, wellness guides, discussion forums, and IFTAS work and member groups. At IFTAS Connect, moderators can also get help with moderation software, ask for assistance translating content, or expand knowledge on a cultural issue or online harms.
