Parity.Org Announces 2024 ParityLISTtm, Recognizing Organizations that Support Equal Advancement Opportunity in the Workplace


The List Recognizes 37 Companies, 97% Have a Formal Equal Pay Plan

NEW YORK, June 3, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Parity.Org today announced the 2024 ParityLISTtm, recognizing organizations that have policies, benefits, and programs to ensure equal advancement opportunities in the workplace. Thirty-seven companies made the 2024 list, after completing a comprehensive assessment covering recruiting, promotion, and compensation practices, as well as specific employee benefits and policies that help to create a level playing field for all. The assessment was based on the evidence-based best practices outlined in the Parity.Org ParityMODELtm.

"Creating a truly level playing field requires a deliberate and sustained effort to dismantle both individual biases and structural inequities that hinder progress," said Parity.Org President Dina Schenk. "The companies on this year's ParityLIST are demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone has a fair chance to compete and advance in their careers."

The 2024 Best Companies for Equal Advancement Opportunity honorees had several policies and practices in common, such as:

In addition, every company has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and a safe reporting system that ensures employees are not punished in any way for reporting incidents of discrimination and harassment.
