InventHelp Inventors Develop Newly Designed Plastic Sheeting Barrier (OCM-1644)

PITTSBURGH, June 10, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "Throughout our experiences in the construction field, we noticed a demand for a better way to secure temporary barriers whether it is for dust isolation, room separation and/or masking purposes," said one of two inventors, from Costa Mesa, Calif., "so we invented the PEEL AND PROTECT. We invented this product to minimize the risk of damage and reduce the time and effort it takes to apply and reapply protective barriers."

The invention provides an improved sheeting/masking barrier. It eliminates the need to tape or staple the plastic to a wall, ceiling, or baseboard. As a result, it saves time and effort. It also provides added strength to the bond from the temporary barrier to the masked surface. The added strength comes by doubling the adhesion surface area and spreading the load equally with the t-flap invention. The invention features a durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for laborers, trade workers, DIY enthusiasts, etc. Additionally. it is producible in various barrier sizes.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
