Fortinet Federal, a leading provider of cybersecurity platforms for federal agencies, announced its president, Steve Hoffman, was named to the AFCEA International Executive Committee on Monday.

After a rigorous vetting process, Hoffman was selected among 15 new members to serve AFCEA, the premier information technology, communications, and electronics association for professionals in government, industry and academia worldwide.

As part of the Executive Committee, Hoffman will be tasked with upholding the organization's mission of increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues focused on information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities.

"I'm honored and excited to join the AFCEA Executive Committee as I have long admired the organization and its dedication to continuing professional education and networking," Hoffman said.
