OTTAWA, ON and TLA-O-QUI-AHT, KNOWN AS HA-HOOTHLEE TERRITORY, June 25, 2024 /CNW/ - Please be advised that the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, the Chief Councillor Elmer Frank of Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and the Tla-o-qui-aht Hawiih (Hereditary Chiefs), alongside representatives from Parks Canada, will sign the Hisiikcumyin Memorandum of Understanding, which outlines collaborative efforts and a path forward to address community priorities and advance reconciliation, and continue shared stewardship of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
