Media advisory - Minister Lebouthillier to visit Magdalen Islands to meet with fish harvesters affected by fire at Grande-Entrée harbour


GRANDE-ENTRÉE, QC, July 1, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard will be visiting the port of Grande-Entrée to meet with fish harvesters affected by yesterday's fire, and to assess the damage. She will be accompanied by Antonin Valiquette, Mayor and President of the Communauté maritime des Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and Cédric Arseneau, Area Director for the Magdalen Islands, Fisheries and Oceans Canada. The Minister will be available for individual interviews afterwards.
