Media Advisory - Minister Vandal to announce major federal investments in infrastructure and economic development projects for coal-impacted communities across Alberta
WABAMUN, AB, July 2, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support for communities transitioning from coal-fired electricity generation to upgrade local infrastructure, attract new investment and create jobs.
Joining Minister Vandal will be Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages of Canada; Mayor Allan Gamble, Parkland County; and Dennis Paul, Technical Advisor to Paul First Nation Council.
