SPC's Online Bachelor's Programs Ranked Best in Tampa Bay by U.S. News & World Report


ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., March 31, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- St. Petersburg College continues to excel in U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges rankings, earning the No. 1 spot for online bachelor's degree programs in the Tampa Bay area. The College also joined Florida's list of public colleges and universities in the top 100 in the nation for best online bachelor's programs.

U.S. News & World Report listed SPC first in the Tampa Bay region in two categories: Best Online Bachelor's Program and Best Online Bachelor's Programs for Veterans. This is the fifth year that SPC received top rankings among all participating institutions in the study. This year, the College ranked 78th in the nation for best online bachelor's programs and among the top 50 for online bachelor's programs for veterans among public institutions. SPC is also the highest-ranked college in the Tampa Bay Area in the Best Online Bachelor's in Business Programs category.

SPC's Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Matthew Liao-Troth said the consistency in the College's ranking is due to its dedicated faculty and staff. SPC also continues to deliver excellence in learning by offering degrees and training that are relevant and timely.
