InventHelp Inventor Develops Remote-Control Operated Spike Strip for Police (CTK-8227)


PITTSBURGH, July 2, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I'm a police officer and very familiar with the dangers and inefficiencies associated with using traditional spike strips to try and stop a criminal approaching in a speeding car," said an inventor, from Panhandle, Texas, "so I invented the RICHEY SAFE SPEED STRIP. My design would improve officer safety and target the criminal so other vehicles are not accidentally damaged."

The invention provides a safer means of quickly disabling a suspect's vehicle by police. In doing so, it would keep the officer at a safe distance to avoid being struck and seriously injured or killed. It also would protect police car tires and nearby vehicle tires. As a result, it increases safety and security. The invention features an innovative and weatherproof design that is easy to use so it is ideal for law enforcement agencies, security firms, etc.
